The answer is yes.
We have a lot more options if we plan ahead of time.
If you give me five before we’re going into a nursing home, we can do almost anything.
But sometimes we don’t have that luxury, or we might plan and then tomorrow there’s a stroke and now we’re facing nursing home.
There are options. Just understand your options are more before a crisis.
This makes sense, doesn’t it?
Do I have more options on how to strengthen my heart now versus the day after a massive heart attack? Of course I do.
It’s the same thing here.
There are still options, but it sure is better if we can do this stuff ahead of time.
Having said this, get with an elder law attorney immediately so you can make the best decisions now whether you are in the middle of a crisis or if all is going well.
